    The "Art Gallery - Vasil Krapchansky" was opened on May 31st, 2013. The fund contains 66 paintings by 25 artists, collecting, storing and exhibiting the artwork of Saparevo and other prominent artists.

    Currently, the Gallery's Genre Gallery includes: paintings, landscapes and watercolors. Paintings of Vasil Krapchansky, Vassil Valev, Maria Raicheva, Antonia Mitsova, Stefan Stefanov, Boyko Vuchkov, Bogdan Katsras, Dimitar Lazov, Dimitar Kasabov, Evgeni Kuzmanov, Bogomil Blagoev, Slav Bakalov, Mladen Mirjanov, Nikolay Yanakiev, Radostin Angelkov, Kiril Nedyalkov, Ivan Kanev, Prof. Panayot Panayotov, Iliya Minoski, Risto Sokolov, Georgi Kostov, Emil Popov, Ivaylo Popov and Vassil Sokolov.
    The Art Gallery was donated by the brothers Vassil and Georgi Krapchanski, born in Sapareva Banya, more than 70 years ago. The idea came to Vassil back in 1997, namely, the place where his home had once erected, to become a place for cultural exchange, meetings between artists and audience and communication with art. The realization of the idea goes a long way, whereas in 2006 the Sapareva Banya mayor, Mr. Sasho Ivanov, together with a team from the Municipality, drew up a project with which they won funding from the Rural Development Program through the Ministry of Agriculture of the European Union. The architect of the project, Prof. Dr. Mladen Miryanov, deserves to develop 180 sq.m., building on the three floors of the mentioned building, the ground floor being a café, snacks, etc. In the second, the permanent exhibition from selected cards from the paintings of the paintings, which the Association of Upper Bulgarian Artists to the Union of Bulgarian Artists has been organizing annually since 2000, and the third - the permanent exhibition - donation from the initiator of the idea Vassil Krapchansky.Without exaggeration we can say that this is the work of his life .
    Vasil Krapchanski was born on 5 March 1935 in the town of Sapareva Banya. Painter with more than 15 solo exhibitions in the country, numerous participations in regional and international paintings / he himself is one of the main motors of the Germanea plexiglass in his native town and dozens of exhibitions abroad - Canada, Spain, France, the USA and others . Vasil Krapchanski is one of the few Bulgarians nominated for a man of the year by the American Biographical Institute and artist of the year by the International Biographical Center in Cambridge, England. He was also a scholarship at the Lambert Gallery in Paris, performing several solo exhibitions in the French capital.
    After the death of the great Bulgarian artist, with the decision of the municipal council Sapareva Banya, the gallery in his hometown bears his name.
    "Vasil Krapchansky City Art Gallery", Sapareva Banya is constantly open to visitors and art lovers. The gallery has a working time in the morning from 8:15 to 12:00 and after noon from 12:45 to 17:00 with weekend breaks.
